About The Role

We’re looking for highly motivated and dynamic people to join our team as Analyst, Private Capital Markets - Sales based in Jakarta, Indonesia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting the team in driving sales efforts within the private capital markets sector by assisting with identifying new business opportunities, maintaining client relationships, and helping to foster partnerships.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

  • Monitor and track secondary market orders for private companies, ensuring timely and accurate execution of trades.
  • Build and maintain strong trading relationships with buyers, sellers, brokers, and other market participants to facilitate seamless transactions.
  • Learn and understand our product suite, helping to communicate its value and assist in building long-term partnerships.
  • Conduct research to identify trends in the secondary market, providing insights to inform trading strategies and decision-making.
  • Analyze order flow data and trading patterns to support the sales team in optimising trading operations and identifying growth opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing materials for client meetings, including presentations and reports that highlight market trends and trading performance.
  • Identify and categorise the appropriate groups of buyers and sellers for private market secondaries, ensuring effective match-making to enhance transaction efficiency.
  • Work closely with sales and fund management teams to support deal origination efforts and enhance investor outreach initiatives
  • Effectively communicate the value of our product suite to clients and partners, fostering long-term relationships within the private capital market sector.
  • Stay informed about industry developments and competitive landscape to enhance product knowledge and market positioning.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, economics, or a related field.
  • Internships or 1-2 relevant experience in investment banking sales, private equity or venture capital sales or investor relations, or financial services is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and research skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building relationships and collaborating with team members and clients.
  • Basic familiarity with financial modeling, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Proactive and self-motivated approach to work, with a willingness to learn and develop within the investment development field.
