About the Role

We are looking for a driven and commercially-minded individual to join us as an Associate Director, Strategy & Corporate Development to support and execute the firm’s strategic growth initiatives across global markets.

This role sits at the core of Alta’s expansion strategy, with a focus on M&A, strategic investments, partnerships, and market development. You will work closely with senior management to evaluate opportunities, execute transactions, and support key initiatives that drive the firm’s long-term growth.

Some Of The Key Responsibilities Include

1. M&A and Strategic Execution
   
   • Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A, investment, and partnership opportunities
   • Conduct financial analysis, valuation, and due diligence across potential transactions
   • Assist in managing end-to-end deal processes from initial assessment through to execution

2. Strategy & Market Development
   
   • Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and identify growth opportunities across regions
   • Support strategic planning initiatives, including new market entry and business expansion
   • Develop a strong understanding of Alta’s business lines and the broader alternative investments landscape

3. Stakeholder Management
   
   • Work closely with senior management, founders, and internal teams to drive strategic initiatives
   • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including investors, partners, and advisors
   • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment and execution across business units

4. Reporting & Analysis
   
   • Prepare investment memos, presentations, and materials for senior management and the Board
   • Support internal reporting, business case development, and decision-making processes

About You

• Minimum 5 years of experience in investment banking, Big 4 corporate finance, corporate development, or strategy roles. Exposure to the technology and/or fintech sector is preferred.
• Proven track record in building complex financial models (e.g. LBO, M&A, NPV/cash flow, partnership structures) and conducting valuation analyses to support strategic transactions.
• Hands-on experience in transaction execution, including mergers & acquisitions, partnerships, or similar strategic initiatives.
• Strong understanding of financial services, fintech, and/or private markets is advantageous.
• Highly analytical with strong problem-solving capabilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
